My long hair journey started 3 years ago when I shaved my head for the 10th time to support the kids who have to deal with cancer. 2018 was going to be my 11th shave but I made a fundraising goal of $2,500 with the “prize” being that I would not shave, and donate it once it was long enough. With $2,600 raised in 2018 by all of you I am now finally at a length to donate and shave. And I am ready… I would like to say that it has been a sacrifice to get to this point but half of you would laugh and the other half would not have the slightest clue (depending on if you ever experienced hair past your shoulders).
