I wanted to take the time to really think about the meaning behind “Brave the Shave.” There are few things in life more unfair then to see a child diagnosed with cancer, however it shows amazing strength by child and their family to face the diagnosis with the BRAVERY needed to overcome it. This organization and event is to show those children they are not alone and that there are people out there willing to support them and their families. If you are willing and able to donate, please do. The money raised through this event goes towards supporting cancer research and supporting families of children with cancer; to help pay their bills and cover expenses as they go through the often lengthy process of cancer treatments.
