As a lot of you know, my son was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. After several rounds of chemo, some major surgery, and a couple of relapse scares, he was given a clean bill of health in February. I am tremendously grateful and feel the need to give back and help others who aren’t so fortunate. As a result, Brave the Shave is calling my name. They are an organization that raises money for kids with cancer. The area where I live right now (Williston, ND) is holding their first event this year. I want it to be successful so my dog Chachi and I are both participating on April 13. If we hit our money goal, I will shave my head and Chachi will get an extra-short summer do.
