Hello! I am at teacher at Prairie Elementary in the Billings County School District. I currently teach 3-8 grade science and social studies. I have been teaching for about 5 years; 4 out of those 5 years being at Prairie Elementary. During my time at Prairie, I have got to know the students very well. It’s a very small, right-knit community that I have really enjoyed being part of. I have had the privilege of watching many of the students grow and learn over the years. This year I learned that Ian, one of the students I’ve taught throughout the years, has a brain tumor. He has undergone multiple surgeries and treatments already. He is 9 years old and one of the toughest (and sweetest) kids I’ve ever met! He always has a story to share and a smile on his face, through it all! I, along with a few of my coworkers, are participating in Brave the Shave for our buddy, Ian. Please consider supporting us and root for Ian’s recovery!
