Live Your Legacy Race 2020 - May 2
The Legacy High School HOSA group (Health Occupations Students of America) is excited to announce the 2nd annual Live Your Legacy 5k/10k walk/run. This event is being held on Saturday, May 2nd AND WE'VE GONE VIRTUAL! We are still going to do this together, but not together, together like we normally would. On the day of the race, everyone will get to their own starting lines, whether it be in your driveway or your favorite trail. Starting at 9:45 am, go to Brave the Shave's Facebook page for a Facebook Live introduction and for the countdown to the start of the race. At 10 am, the Legacy High School HOSA students will start the race! Be sure to map out your course, post pictures on Brave the Shave's Facebook page, and register to support kids fighting cancer. Plus you'll get a 2020 Live your Legacy t-shirt. Just because we can't GET TOGETHER, we can still BE TOGETHER.
HOSA has dedicated their efforts to fighting childhood cancer and will do so by supporting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to help find a cure to this awful disease as well as supporting Brave the Shave's Family Fund to help families in ND who have children fighting cancer.
So strap on your shoes and gather your friends! Sign up as an individual or form a team. And challenge others to spice up the competition! There's an event for everyone; 5k run, 5k walk, 10k run, and even a 5k kids run! This very special and one-of-a-kind event will be one you won't want to miss!
